[Earnest] Celebrating too late?

Postby Earnest » Fri Jun 25, 2021 11:00 am

He won but celebrated after a lot of time. Why?

it could be quick. In any case the statement is very vague and ambiguous. You'll understand why...

Did he know that he won?
Was he declared winner only later?
Was he prevented from celebrating?
Did he find it inappropriate to celebrate? see no point in celebrating?

Is he a HAM? If he's not human, is he a horse? Dog? Or maybe he was a human who was one year below the legal drinking age in his country?

At the moment (or shortly after it) he won, did anyone else know he had won? Is this something like how winners of reality TV competitions and quiz shows are forbidden from saying anything until the episode airs?

Is it relevant what sport he was playing? Was it an individual sport? Team sport? Hockey? North American football? Football/soccer? Lacrosse? Rugby? Tennis? Badminton? Wrestling? Track and field? Gymnastics? Skating? Skateboarding? Skiing/snowboarding? Running? Baseball? Basketball? Croquet? Cricket? Australian rules football? Sailing? Swimming? Diving? Polo? Water polo? Volleyball? Golf? Curling? Caber toss? Javelin? Shot-put? Target shooting? Is it an Olympic sport? Was he competing at the Olympics? At another international event?

Is the sports event he won held annually? did he celebrate together with the next year's winner? did he win himself the next year? (so celebrated two victories in a row?)
Did he have personal reasons for not celebrating in the first place? did he make a pledge not to drink/not to celebrate for a particular period of time? ramadan/other period of fasting relevant?
Covid restrictions relevant?

So the guy (and the whole team, as it was soccer) won a major tournament in 2020? but Covid restrictions prevented them from having a big party to celebrate their victory? So they moved the party until Covid restrictions were lifted?
