You stand in the middle of a blizzard, which doesn't seem natural. You feel as if someone is staring at you, but cannot see anyone. A wisp of something resembling a dark cloud is hovering nearby. Proceed.

Look, listen, smell, taste, feel.

Check inventory. What are we wearing?

Are we HAM? Is the blizzard unnaturally: warm? Silent? Small? Unseasonal? Sudden? Dark? Bright? Did I see anyone before it started? Do I know how it started? When? Why?
Examine the ground we're standing on.

Examine the cloud. It is a dark cloud, with strange energy pulsating within it.

Look, listen, smell, taste, feel. The cloud feels both warm and cold, and almost solid when touched. You hear a voice begging for help. The cloud has no other distinguishing characteristics that could be ascertained with five senses.

Check inventory. What are we wearing? A blue shirt, a pair of faded black trousers, a hat and a bag.
