[GalFisk] ...oh, what a relief it is!

Postby GalFisk » Mon May 17, 2021 2:48 pm

I feel several pounds lighter! And I got my peripheral vision back!

Perhaps congratulations are in order...

Is the feeling of being lighter due to the loss of some kind of external burden? Like something that you have had to carry or haul? Or because of some change in your body?
Has your peripheral vision been impaired somehow for some time? By an external object? Due to a problem with your eyes?

Was your peripheral vision impaired by the same object that you had to (sort of) carry/haul?
Did the impairment last minutes? hours? days? weeks? months?

I wondered if you should be congratulated since you feel lighter, like when someone goes through a weight loss transformation, but maybe it's not this kind of thing...

Had your peripheral vision been impaired on both sides? Just on your left or on your right?
Was the burden something that could be passed from one person to another? Or could only be borne by one person?

Was it an item you had to carry regularly every day for some minutes?
Did you carry it on or about your head?
Was it some sort of tool? or medical device? a helmet? (did you return from army service?)

Is it an article of clothing? Something that resembles this?
A protective item? Something not usually carried?

A winter coat? Indeed. It's a heavy winter coat. How does it affect my peripheral vision, though?

Did it have a large hood? that was hanging into your face? Pretty much.

SPOILER:
The heavy winter jacket with the faux fur hood trim is warm and nice in the winter, but being able to switch to a lighter jacket and go hoodless when it gets warm in the spring is even nicer.

I only needed my heavy winter coat for a week or two this year, but I feel you with regard to the peripheral vision impairment. Especially dangerous when you're a pedestrian on a shared bike lane / sidewalk
