Did they know before their honeymoon that they would get it free? Did they know the frog would play a part? Was there some kind of deal going on, competition, happy accident, discovery? Did they go to the Caribbean, or some other hot or exotic location? France, frogs' legs on the menu (albeit not this one)? Was there a competition? Number of frogs relevant? Tadpoles, breeding programme, other use of frogs? Aside from/prior to discovery/payment for frog, was frog considered a bad thing?

Did the frog somehow make them a lot of money, which let them pay all their expenses? Or did someone/something directly reimburse them for specific honeymoon costs?

Did they have the frog in their possession at any point? Did the presence of the frog make them notice something else?

Did they bring the frog with them when they went on their trip? Did they bring it back home from the trip?
Was the frog in the place where they spent their honeymoon? Did it live there? Did they find it there? DId they ever see the frog? come close to it?
Relevant that it was their honeymoon trip? Would it also work when they had traveled to this place for some other reason?
Did they win the trip in a lottery or raffle? was the trip sponsored by someone?
Did they have to do something before, during or after the trip in order to get reimbursed? Did they something good for the frog? for frogs or animals or the nature in general?
Is the species of frog relevant? was it a vulnerable or endangered species?
Were they reimbursed by the hotel owner? by an insurance company? by a (non-profit) organization? by the compensation?
Did they get the money back as sort of a compensation? for damage? for inconvenience? for a loss of some sorts? for work they did?

Did they find the frog indoors? otudoors? in or near the place where they stayed? was the frog in its natural habitat (i.e. where frogs of this species usually live)? was the frog in danger? did they touch the frog? take it away from the place where it was?
Did they start whatever they did in order to get their money back after they found the frog? immediately after? did they do so already with the intention to get their money back?
Did they exploit some obscure law?
Was there anything criminal or fishy going on?

Sorry, Sundowner, I missed the last line of questions in your previous post.

Did they get the money back as sort of a compensation? for damage? for inconvenience? for a loss of some sorts? for work they did? This

Did they find the frog indoors? otudoors? This in or near the place where they stayed? Yes, near was the frog in its natural habitat (i.e. where frogs of this species usually live)? Yes, but explore was the frog in danger? No did they touch the frog? Irrel take it away from the place where it was? No
Did they start whatever they did in order to get their money back after they found the frog? immediately after? Yes did they do so already with the intention to get their money back? No

Did they do this work in response to finding the frog? to the surroundings of the place where they found it?
Was their work to the benefit of the frog? to the benefit of the hotel guests? the hotel owner? to the general public?
Did they do what actually would have been someone else's job? so they could claim an equivalent payment for it?
Did they get formally employed (by the hotel? by the local government?) Did they need to get formally employed in order to be allowed to do this work?
Did their work include: cleaning up? moving things? guarding/protecting? watching/monitoring? collecting data? distributing things or information?

Relevant what they did when they found the frog? Did they touch it? Photograph it? Telle people about it? Capture it? Hurt it? Help it? Would it work if they found a different individual frog of the same species? A frog of any other species? More than one frog of the correct species? Did the frog make any relevant noise? If so, did they record it? Did they know there was anything special with the frog?

Was this frog of an endangered species? Was the work they did related to conservation? Research? Cataloguing? Had they discovered a new type of frog? Was the frog thought to be extinct? Did they tell people about it who worked in a relevant field? If so, biology? Or like, animal sciences?

Were the couple already workers in a field related to the work they did with the frog? Were they scientists? Researchers? Professors? Photographers? Did they already work with wildlife?

Did any artistic creation come about because of this frog?

Was this particular frog (or breed, variant etc) notable in any way? Would another type have frog have sufficed for whatever happened afterwards?

Would the observing/monitoring/catalogueing they did have been part of their job as scientists? So they could cancel their vacation and declare it a field study trip? Was there a huge schientific interest in monitoring this species of frog in this place? Was it completely unexpected to find this species there? any frog at all there? was the island notable for beiong frog-free? :)
Was it only one frog? a whole population?
Was the frog in a very unusual place for this species? like: in a building? in a car? on a tree? in a pigsty? in a garbage container?

********SPOILER********

Sarah and Lucas are two field biologist who spend their honeymoon in the tropical rain forest. On one of their hikes, they come across a species of frog that has never been observed in this area before. They document their findings and eventually publish them as a paper in a scientific journal. This allows them to retroactively declare their honeymoon a business / field work trip and to have their costs reimbursed.

Thanks for playing, everyone, and congratulations on the solve, Sundowner! On a Wednesday, no less!
