A police officer was often seen driving about in his police car. Every time he drove the car, he was not wearing any pants. Why not?BOATS. Caveat earlispoilor.

The costume Peter Weller wore in Robocop was notably bulky, and he couldn't fit in his car while wearing it. To resolve this issue, he only ever drove the car wearing the top half of his costume.
