Was the candy rather small? Yes! smaller than a 1ct coin? around that size smaller than a 1 EUR coin?
Did the cashier think you were pranking her because you took only one candy? Yes! Was it technically possible to buy only one of it? Yes, but very unusual or would one normally have to buy the whole pack?
Did you open a pack to get the candy? was it open anyway? This, see below
Did you need to convince the cashier to sell you this one candy? Yesish
********SPOILER********
I was at a department store with my mom, waiting for her to finish whatever she was doing. Being an 8-year-old with a dime in her pocket, I wandered off to the candy department. They had jelly beans priced by weight, and I wasn't sure how much one jelly bean would be, but I thought it couldn't be more than 10 Pf. So I placed a single jelly bean in one of those giant plastic bags and proceeded to the checkout counter. The cashier looked at the single jelly bean, then at me, then back at the jelly bean and asked me "Are you kidding me???". I then gave her my 10 Pf coin and said "No, that's all I have". The jelly bean was 6 Pf, meaning that I wouldn't have had enough money to pay for two jelly beans.
Thanks for playing, everyone, and congrats on the solve, Sundowner!
