A few years ago my parents decided they were tired of living in their condo in a city, and started looking for architecturally interesting buildings, in nearby towns, that could be converted to a home. They now live in an old Unitarian church.
My partner and I are getting married next month in their backyard. I’m atheist and she’s agnostic, but it occurred to me that even though we’re having a small, backyard wedding we are having a church wedding at the same time.
