Did she do this in order to benefit the current patients medically? in order to benefit them financially (i.e., reduce their hospital bill)? in order to benefit future patients, by hopefully changing something about the pharmacy's ways of doing things? in order to save the hospital money?

Ilara is a hospital doctor. One day, she orders three bottles of kids' nasal spray from the in-house pharmacy with the intention to take it home and use it for her own kids. A pharmacy tech fulfills her order, but the pharmacist gets suspicious and calls her, asking her what she needs kids' nasal spray for when all of her patients are adults. The best excuse that she can come up with on the spot is "Oh, they just all have really small nostrils".

Based on a true story that one of my doctor friends told me.
