Becoming a rich man as in getting wealthy? Yes. Financially? Yes.
Did Jericho become the rich man? Yes. Or the doctor? No.
Is Jericho a doctor, too? No.
Did Jericho visit the doctor as a patient? Possibly, but not necessarily.
As a colleague (to discuss some patient's medical history or something the like)? No. In some official function? No.
Did the doctor give Jericho the money? No. If so: was it a bribe? did Jericho blackmail the doctor? did the doctor pay Jericho for something? So no to these.
Inheritance relevant? Yes. Did Jericho see the doctor for a DNA test? No.
Is Amanda Jericho's wife? No. The doctor's wife? No. A relative of either the doctor or Jericho? No.
Are there more people involved in this story besides the doctor, Jericho and Amanda? Yes. Amanda's husband.
Is the reason of Amanda's (potential) unhappiness: that Jericho and/or the doctor were involved in something criminal or fishy? There is a bigger reason, but yes. Just Jericho, not the doctor.
That Jericho in some sense betrayed or deceived her? Yope.
Did Amanda lose the money Jericho got? Would she have become rich instead of Jericho, given the circumstances have been different (or Jericho had not seen the doctor)? No to both.
