Is there one aspect of crying particularly relevant? (noise? filling the lungs with air? emotional arousal? blood circulation? flow of tears?)

I believe I remember reading somewhere that a health class at some high school had a homework assignment for students to carry around a bag of flour while pretending it was a baby, in order to see how much attention that takes away from the rest of life--was it something like this?

Even if I knew the baby was made of plastic, it looked so real that it felt wrong to unscrew its back and replace the rechargeable batteries that had died after several years. But this was what it needed in order to function, and it soon started to fuss and cry as it was programmed to do.

My job is to help municipal schools with their tech, and while I mostly fix computers, I sometimes get to troubleshoot more specialized equipment like this. Thanks for playing!
