[RedWine] Better late than never.

Postby RedWine » Fri Mar 20, 2015 5:16 pm

Harriet looked through the window and learned that her favourite artist comes to her town. Why did she get angry about that?

Is Harriet also an artist? And she can't make as much money? Or get as much attention for herself?
Is Harriet H A F? Does the whole scenario happen in the real world? Part fiction/Part real? All fiction?
Is the window on a home? Car? Building? An idea/figurative? Operating System? Is it a glass window? Was she at home? At work? Outside?

Is the type of artist - Music, Painting/Sculpture/Visual, Tattoo, Con?
By favorite do you mean she admired the artist's work? Did Harriet notice a poster/billboard/advert for the artist?
Comes to her town as in, has visited in the past? Several times in the past? Or comes as in, in the moment coming to town?
May we give the artist a name? Joanne perhaps?

Is there a problem with the visit itself? Is there something that doesn't fit in with her plans? Or her schedule? Or finances? Or obilgations?

Is Harriet angry with Joanne personally? With a side effect of Joanne's future visit - road closures, can't do something etc? Is she angry with someone who is associated with Joanne? Does Harriet know Joanne personally? Is the word angry the best description? Perhaps upset? Dismayed? Sorrowful? Irked?
Does it matter what type of music artist? Does Harriet have temporary deafness?

Is Harriet out of her own town at the moment, and thus unable to visit the artist, hence she is angry at the bad timing?

Is there some problem with Joanne? Like laryngitis? Broken leg? Dead? Is the reason for Joanne's visit other than to perform music? Like see a doctor? Is Joanne a H A F?
Is Harriet upset she cannot see a music show with Joanne? Was there any relevant news about Joanne recently?
Is there and realistic way the Harriet could see Joanne perform music when Joanne arrives in town?

Any other relevant people? Will Harriet likely go see Joanne perform? Is there an action that Joanne did which made Harriet mad? To clarify, there is some bad timing here, correct? Is there anything relevant on the billboard/poster? A date perhaps? Did tickets go on sale and Harriet bought them at full price? Anything relevant with - Money? Song? Music Group? Venue? Driving? Weather - Like it's gonna rain and she has outside seating? Does Harriet already have tickets to the show?

Did the ticket prices get reduced? Is there a personal money issue with Harriet? Banking? Loss of money? Will the performance be as expected? Is there a date change or cancellation? Has the venue changed? And she doesn't like the venue? And she will have to drive farther? Maybe she could have walked to it, but now...?
In a nutshell Harriet is angry that something is going to make the (concert?) less enjoyable for her? Or means of getting there less enjoyable?

Will the performance be as expected? Yes. Is there a date change or cancellation? No, but OTRT. Has the venue changed? No, but OTRT again. And she doesn't like the venue? No. And she will have to drive farther? Yes. Maybe she could have walked to it, but now...? That is basically correct.

So when Harriet sees the billboard/poster she realizes the date is today? Or the start time has changed? Or she misunderstood the time or something else? Or she realizes it's not where she expected? And she thinks she's already near the concert? And she has to rush and or miss part of the concert? Or there is traffic stopping her and she has to drive farther to get around the traffic?

Is she relevantly involved in the event? Did she work or petition at having it a certain place? Or time?

Is there any quality/current state of Joanne that needs to be found out? How about Harriet? WAG Harriet has a leg cast and cannot walk to the concert?
Anything relevant about the tickets themselves? Forgeries? Did Harriet think she had better seats?
Is the angry part more before she gets to the concert? During(relevant?)? Or both (continual)?
The relevant fact about time/timing is - Last time to see Joanne in concert? Start time of concert? Date of concert? Time to travel there? The concert timing coincides with something else she wanted to do? or needed to do? Something is broken (or something prevents normal transport) and she needs to take another means of transportation?
Is the date/time/place on the poster the same as on her ticket?
Is misunderstanding anything relevant?
To clarify, Harriet already had tickets to the concert when she saw the poster?

Harriet had tickets to another concert? And that it why the date/time is different? Does she have tickets to see the same Joanne on a different night? A different place? A different time? Tickets to a different Joanne? Are the tickets for some other performer?
Does Harriet but another set of tickets?

BeachDude:

Oh, bummer! She had already bought tickets to so the artist where Harriet was visititing, but then saw that she could have seen her Correct so far... more cheaply? Yes, but she would save on transportation, not tickets. Convienently? Yes. at her home town! YES.

Danobrazil:

Sounds right to me! To me too!

************SPOILER*************

When only Harriet learned that her favourite artist, Joanne, was coming on a tournee to her country, she bought tickets for her concert held in the closest available location (but still some 150 km from her place of living). Some time after Harriet saw a poster advertising the same concert in her town. This meant the tournee schedule had changed and another additional concert will be held in her town. Harriet is angry, because if that concert had been planned from the very beginning, she would certainly have wanted to see the concert in her town, thus saving money (and inconvenience) on transportation.

Thanks for everybody who contributed and congrats to Danobrazil and BeachDude for excellent cooperative spoil.
