Yes, at least where I live the part of a regular pick-up where the driver and passengers sit is called the cab, and the outside bit on the back that you can haul stuff in would be called the truck bed, or just the bed. Unless I'm totally out to lunch, which I've sometimes been accused of being.
Is this a truck where there are two rows of seats in the interior? More? If so, were they in a row behind the driver? Is this a military vehicle? Is it a truck that is used for a certain industry or profession? If yes, is that industry/profession what the field is used for? Did these two guys die in a crash? Were they ejected from the vehicle? Did the driver die as well?
