SPOILER:
I find the lyrics to popular Swedish "dansband" music to be shallow and insipid, and therefore very easy to parody. I sometimes come up with better (in my opinion) lyrics on the fly when I hear them, and one day I decided to start writing some down. It snowballed and I completed a bunch of parodies over the course of a week or so. But in order to get them right I had to listen to the originals, and they started getting stuck in my head. Their one redeeming quality is that their tunes are often catchy.
