I've realized I was making the assumption that she was already out of the house and heading somewhere when she checked her watch. Is this assumption correct? yes
Is she out for a run? no Doing some other form of exercise? she is walking, but gently Does she see a stat on her watch that alarms her? Is her heart rate abnormally high? yes to both - but see answer to GalFisk, above Low? Does she have any pre-existing medical conditions? not to her knowledge

She had a smartwatch, which was displaying her heartrate as abnormally, and alarmingly, high while on a leisurely walk. She then goes quickly to the nearby medical centre and makes an appointment to get it checked out.
