Would the cleaning involve; washing? sweeping? vacuum cleaning?collecting and removing garbage? painting? repairing? weeding the garden? using tools? using machinery? using detergents?
Would the cleaning have removed something she wanted to keep? memories?

Allison has a small cutie-wutie fluffer-wuffer of a dog who loves to prop herself up on the passenger-side door handle when on car rides to watch out the side window as the miles fly by. Consequently, Allison regularly has to clean noseprints off the passenger window. When her dog passes away, it hits her rather hard the first time Allison gets in her car and sees the beloved prints of a happy, excited friend. Even though they somewhat obscure the view (particularly of the side-view mirror, when the sun hits them just right), she can't quite bring herself to wipe them away.

Based on an old bichon of mine who used to do just that, and a shih tzu-pomeranian cross I adore who belongs to my in-laws and has done the same to the front window in their new house.
