Is your name common in both Germany and the Netherlands? but in the Netherlands usually spelled differently? So when you said your name in the Netherlands it usually got spelled the Dutch way? and you had to explain that yours is spelled differently? was that your inconvenience? Yes to all!
********SPOILER********
My last name is common in German and Dutch, but the most common Dutch spelling is slightly different. Every time I had to give out my name or my e-mail address while living in the Netherlands, I always had to clarify that it's "Ackermann with ck and two n's". Surely not the biggest inconvenience, but I'm still glad I don't have to do that any longer, having moved back to Germany.
