I might know this one from recognizing the quote... was the statement made to the boy's father? is a picture of a car involved? changing diapers? I'm trying to be as cryptic as I can be without giving away the actual context, and yet saying things specific enough that they are likely to be completely off base if it's NOT what I remember. For those thoroughly confused by my weird questions, there was a relatively famous case of a boy who claimed to be his own grandfather. One time when his father was changing his diaper, he said something like "I remember when I was big, I used to change YOUR diaper". The father was naturally taken aback by such a comment, and tested to see if his son remembered other things from the grandfather's life, including whether he could identify his grandfather's first car from pictures in the family album.

I'm kind of glad the puzzle isn't about this, as it's not so much lateral as just weird, maybe spookily so depending on what you do or don't believe.

Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled puzzle... did the boy mean "big" in the sense of physically larger? adult? popular (as in "the next big thing")?
